Job Opportunity - Studio Assistant

Jameson Fine Art is seeking a studio assistant and co-creator to help with 1) co-writing and editing scholarly articles and OpEds, grant proposals, project proposals, and other written communications, 2) curation and installation of upcoming exhibits related to art, science and medicine; 3) promotion of existing work and placement of additional national and international permanent installations.

Ideal candidate is passionate about creating at the intersection between art and science, ready to jump in and collaborate, with high energy and a positive attitude. They will leverage design skills via Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, and will bring strong writing abilities and video editing. They will bring excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time-management skills, and a thrill for working independently on multiple projects. The studio is a fast-paced, positive environment with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Position offers 15 - 25 hours a week with competitive compensation commensurate on experience. Studio is located in the East Bay close to BART.
